The team is comprised of 5 electrical and computer engineering students from Florida International University. The responses given by each member reflects what unique abilities they offer to the project.

Yigal Akselman
Computer Engineering Student
Senior design project has given me the opportunity to implement the knowledge I acquired in my pursuit for a bachelor degree. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Architecture and Electronics are the main areas that were studied. The building of a game console gave me a unique, fun and interesting way to learn and demonstrate how all of the above can be interlaced together to form an educational and stimulating product. After the project is done, I intend to embrace the experience I earned and the friendships I made to assist others and myself in my next passage of life.

John P. Armstrong
Computer Engineering Student
During my time at FIU I've been fortunate to take part in various student organizations such as the Florida University Satellite Design Competition (FUNSAT), IEEE, ACM and HackMiami (co-founder). Being apart of these organizations and taking classes such as software engineering have exposed me to working on teams. I also bring to this project my experience with AVR microcontrollers, Assembly, MATLAB, Arduino, Linux, Java, C++, Visual C#, PHP/MySQL and amateur radio. After graduation it would be a dream to have a career in the embedded systems, hardware design, or radio communication industries.

Alfredo Guerrero
Computer Engineering Student
Having the opportunity to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering at FIU has furthered my interest in the field to an extent I never imagined. The knowledge gained these past few years will serve as a solid foundation for a future career in my chosen discipline, and the employment experience I've had while working to pay my way through college has been invaluable. Just as I've been consistently promoted to positions of increased responsibility at every post held to date, I will utilize my innate leadership skills and acquired understanding of engineering to succeed in the industry.

Daniel Urquijo
Electrical Engineering Student
As team leader, I am learning first hand about responsibility and communication. Working on this project has exposed me to the field of embedded systems. Currently my concentration is in power systems. I have experience in electronics and power configuration systems such as motors, transformers, compressors, and power correction boxes. I am currently working for a mechanical HVAC company, SEER Air Conditioning Corp.

Shain Leonard
Electrical Engineering Student
Besides having experience with software and hardware related to my field of study, I also has worked in other areas that can that can facilitate the work of the team. Like: uController programming (Assembly and C), VisualBasic 2006, Web design and graphics design
